De Sabios y Locos

UN EVENTO DE EDUCACIÓN COMUNITARIO DE SALUD MENTAL

A MENTAL HEALTH COMMUNITY EDUCATIONAL EVENT

A comedic play by renowned psychologist Dr. Ana Nogales.

Directed by and Starring Lilian Tapia

No-Cost Admission. Play is presented in Spanish with simultaneous English translation.

Meet the Delgado family as they attempt to navigate their lives and live in harmony amidst underlying mental health issues that make it exceedingly difficult to do so.

De Sabios Y Locos is presented by Casa de la Familia

The Latino Mental Health Stigma Reduction Community Theater Project

The goal of this project was to outreach, educate, and increase knowledge pertaining

to mental health services within the Latino community. By utilizing a non-stigmatizing

method such as a theatrical play, Latino community members learned about the signs

and symptoms associated with mental health and became familiar with the services

that are available through LACDMH.

Showings of De Sabios y Locos are now VIRTUAL! Join us on Facebook for the current list of live showings!

If you or a loved one needs mental health services, call (877) 611-2272 to schedule an appointment for counseling.
